I’m trying to play some songs but they don’t show up for example “A Thousand Years”. :/

Sorry, I had to take down anything that was copyright protected. I’m working on finding out how to get permission to use them, so hopefully they will be here again someday.

what does 3rd next to a note mean? And 1st?

That tells you to shift into 3rd position and then back into 1st position. If you don’t know how to do that yet, then songs with that in there may be too difficult for you. But you can learn it. Watch closely to my hand in the above video to see where I’m re-positioning my fingers and you’ll get an idea of what to do.

How do I pop up the sheet music where the notes light up when played?

The instrument graphic toggle is missing for Viola &a cello in the PlaynAlong mode. The fingerlings, therefore, are not displayed.

The audio for the Apple application is highly distorted.

Sorry the audio is not working well for you. Do you mean the sound is bad for all songs, or are there specific ones that are distorted? If so, which ones?
Or are you talking about recordings that you have made of yourself?
